MARRIAGE LICENSE INFORMATION

		You first need to apply for your license; you will need legal names, S.S.#s and birth dates for each of you.  You may download one of the flollowing forms and bring it with you you completed.
		After you apply, you are given a worksheet to complete and return after a 3-day waiting period.  For example, apply on Monday and pick license up on Thursday.  Apply on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday,  and pick license up on Monday.
		When you return your worksheet, we will fill out and issuse your license. (Please return your worksheet before 3:30 pm to allow time to complete the license).  The cost ot the license is $69.00 (We accept only cash or money order).  The license is valid in Kansas only, for a period of 6 months.
		If it is your wish to be married by a Judge, we will need the date, time, and place.  There is a fee of $100.00 for the Judge to perform the ceremony.  This also has to be cash or money order and must be paid at least 3 days prior to the wedding date.  Please be sure we have your current address and phone number in case we need to contact you.
d		The person who performs your ceremony must sign and return the license to the District Court in the envelope provided.  We then record the license here and forward the original to the Office of Vital Statistics in Topeka.  If you should need a copy in the future, you may contact their office.
		Note: Minors must be accompanied by parent or guardian, and their application must be approved by the Judge.
		License will be published in the local newspaper, unless directed otherwise..
